Mr Larry Glass, BA (Biology), Chief Executive Officer and President US Operations

Mr Glass joined Neuren in early 2004 as the Executive Vice President, USA. He is a seasoned manager with more than 25 years in the life sciences industry. Before he joined Neuren, he worked as an independent consultant for a number of biotech companies in the US and internationally providing management, strategic and business development services. Prior to that, he was CEO of a contract research organisation that provided preclinical research and clinical trials support for major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and the US government. For a number of years, the CRO operated as a subsidiary of a NYSE-listed company and was subsequently sold to a European biopharmaceutical enterprise which was then acquired by Johnson & Johnson. Since joining Neuren, Mr Glass has led business development activities in the US and Europe and established operations in the US. He was the principal architect of the Hamilton acquisition.

Mr Rob Turnbull, BCom, CA, Chief Financial Officer

Mr Turnbull joined Neuren in February 2005. For the preceding three years he was consultant to and CFO for another Auckland-based biotechnology company, and prior to that was with PricewaterhouseCoopers for 13 years in Auckland, Toronto and London, latterly specialising in financial reporting by foreign registrants in the United States and securities regulation in general. Mr Turnbull holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Auckland University and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Dr Mike Bickerdike, BSc(Hons), PhD, Group Science Manager

Dr Mike Bickerdike is responsible for Neuren's discovery research projects and for managing all non-clinical development work to enable and support the company's development programs. He previously worked for Vernalis Research in the UK, where he held various positions, including research project leader and department director. He brings to Neuren valuable experience in research strategy, drug discovery and corporate collaborations within the pharmaceutical industry.
